About me
As it works out, my mission as a designer is to create a happier world. Usability can mean empowerment. Change starts with design. Behind it all, I wield my tools of user research and co-design to help create change that truly helps people.
I have varied experience working on design projects across municipal, provincial and federal levels of Government. In recent years, my focus has been on leveraging research to inspire new scholarly findings that can inform us on how to make our workflows easier. My research interests are diverse; from robotics to healthcare communication, you'll find through my work that I'm passionate about innovating new ways of doing things.
In my free time, I love learning things. That's what inspired me to pursue graduate school! I'm also an avid bookworm, passionate photographer and a budding (albeit amateur) pianist.
I'm currently a Graduate Student in OCAD University's Inclusive Design program where I'm continuing my research and design journey. If you'd like to learn more about my journey or connect, please feel free to download my CV below or get in touch.
My name means happiness in Arabic!
